Prologues - pre-play discussions

Festival directors, designers, and guest speakers meet with the audience members before the play on the Sundays at 1:30pm to discuss the play and its production. These "Prologues" enhance the enjoyment of the play and are a great opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes.

The Young Company

The Young Company is a special summer program to train the performers of tomorrow. Students receive special training from professional theater artists while taking part in the main production. They also receive the experience of working alongside seasoned professionals. Some of the subjects covered: vocal techniques, acting, speaking the text, movement, and stage combat. Entrance to the Young Company is by audition and/or recommendation.

2003 Young Company

Members of the 2003 Young Company, Carlee Magee (kneeling), Erica Leicht (left),
and Charlotte Bird (left back) are reporters at Claudius' "news conference,"
which doesn't seem to interest Hamlet at all.
